IPV6 longer delegated prefix length?

At the moment, the delegated prefix length is limited to a /64. We understand that some of you are eager to get a larger prefix in order to take advantage of some of the advanced functionalities IPv6 has to offer. Now that we have completed the rollout, our engineering teams are currently assessing the effort required to enable this functionality.

Is there any update? I tried get a larger prefix by IAPD, but it did not work.

Thanks.

@syu  I think that you are asking whether it is possible to get more IPv6 address space than the /64 prefix that is typically delegated.  I have successfully requested and received a /56 prefix delegation using my own router.  I do not need the extra address space at the moment so I only did that temporarily for testing... but it is possible, at least in my area.

Could be area different, I tried ask a /56, but still get a /64 in dhcpcd with ia_pd 1/::/56 eth0/0/64. But good to know their system support it.

I plan to stick around

Is there any additional updates to this. I just got rogers fiber and can't seem to get anything other than a /64 prefix. I've tried /54 /56 /60 with no success.
