Ignite Service

I've been around

Recently our condo switched to Ignite from traditional Rogers cable service.  We have a smart home and it has been nothing but a disaster.  The Ignite tv service interferes with our smart tv and voice activated devices.  Smart tv thumbnails either slow to load or not loading at all.  Everything worked fine before.

 

The ignite tv app keeps having issues with connectivity.  Using the third party apps in Ignite is no better, repeatedly asking to enter credentials.  Hard wiring no better.

 

The speed tests extremely well, but it is so slow and glitchy in real-world use.

Migrating to the Ignite platform could have been seamless and pleasant; it's disappointing that you are encountering various issues. 

 

It's good to know that you are receiving good speeds. Where is the modem located? Please check this article: Where to Place Your Modem.

 

Have you enabled the Advanced Security feature? You can check by going to the Home tab of the HomeConnect app. You can turn it off and restart your gateway modem.
