How To Cancel Call Forward

alsclub
I've been here awhile

Has anyone else had trouble cancelling call forward for their Rogers home phone. I was able to change from my Florida # to my cell but can't cancel by the *73 method.  I have tried several times over a 3 day period. Help!

Are you dialing *73 from your actual home phone?

Have you tried the online manager (if you have it?)

Yes, I have tried both. The Online Manager does not have a Confirm Button for the Do Not Forward option now and the Quick Status shows Forwarding Off but if you call my home phone, it rings once then a busy signal.

Have you tried turning Call Forward on, then off again? Sometimes that may "reboot" the functionality.

If that doesn't work, you can try contact us:

I have tried everything I can think of and was finally able to chat with an agent, however, after 1/2 hour of trying he gave up and said he would send the problem on.

I have currently changed call forward to my cell which, surprisingly, works but if I turn call forward off it does not work, the caller hears 1 ring then a fast busy.

I guess we are stuck unless I go back to Bell.

did you get this fixed? If so, how? I'm having the same trouble on my phone.

Hello, @Cathy17.

Thank you for joining this discussion, and welcome to Rogers Community Forums!

It's not clear from your post the steps you have tried to deactivate call forwarding. If you have already tried *73 and the Online Manager, we can look into submitting a ticket for you.
