My home phone has not been working since I got home at 2pm. When is this going to be fixed??? Brampton Main St & Vodden St area

Do you have Ignite Home Phone or the legacy Rogers Home Phone with a dedicated telephone modem? For legacy Rogers Home Phone, see these troubleshooting tips: http://www.rogers.com/customer/support/article/home-phone-no-dial-tone
For Ignite Home Phone, do you have a telephone connected directly to the Ignite gateway or is your gateway connected to your in-home telephone wiring? If it is the latter, I would suggest that you first try to connect a telephone directly to the gateway's "Tel 1" jack.
If you still cannot get dial tone, Rogers offers the following troubleshooting tips: https://www.rogers.com/support/home-phone/troubleshoot-no-dial-tone-on-your-ignite-service
If you still cannot get dial tone, you will need to contact Rogers technical support for assistance. I would suggest sending a private message to @CommunityHelps unless you would prefer to call tech support from a cell phone.
It's unusual for your Ignite Home Phone service to fail but for your Internet service to still be working fine.
