Unable to connect to area code 448 from my landline

Are you still having difficulties calling to this area code? 

What happens when you attempt to dial that area code? Do you have any other troubles calling numbers located in the USA?

I am still having problems  with any numbers with this area code. The message is that my number cannot be completed.  I have called Rogers and they are checking into the problem. I do call other numbers in the states without any  problems.  I have heard that this is a relatively  new area code and others calling from Canada  are also having problems. Fingers crossed that the Rogers tech can fix this problem. Thank you for responding.
