Attention Swifties! Are you ready for it?

 

Many of us waited to get the elusive tickets to Taylor Swift |The Eras Tour last August. We lined up for virtual wait lists, it turned out All Too Well for some and it was a Cruel Summer for the rest of us.

Soon You’ll Get Better, Rogers is proud to present Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour in Canada, and we’re giving our customers the chance to win 1 of 35 pairs of tickets every week to the Toronto or Vancouver shows.​ 

 

Here’s how you can enter your ticket-winning era:

 

Who will receive an email or text with details on how to enter the contest?

Rogers customers with eligible accounts in good standing will receive an email or text.  If you are subscribed to marketing  communications, you're already on the list and there's no action on your end. If you have previously unsubscribed, you'll need to resubscribe to get the email or text. You can do this by signing into your MyRogers account.

 I’m a Rogers customer, how do I enter?  
You’ll receive an email or text message starting on August 6th with contest details and a simple way to enter the contest.

Are you a customer but didn’t get an email or text?   
You may have unsubscribed from our communications. Sign into MyRogers or My Shaw to find out next steps to enter the contest. 

Are you a new customer?  
You’ll automatically receive an email or text message in our next weekly contest email.

With the salt air & rust on my door, i’ve never needed anything more to start off the beginning of August !!

Per post 1 of this thread, I got a text last night.

 

Also as per post 1, I signed into MyRogers with my computer browser and there was a link there.

No email. No text. No help when reaching customer service. I can get texts about cell phone plans and new phones… but not the text I actually want from Roger’s.

Why are there no further instructions on how to actually enable the messaging? I don't remember opting out and haven't received anything. 

 

It's not a simple find. Can you please provide clear instructions on how to opt into marketing communications?

@57 yes, I logged in to My Rogers on my pc.. that's also where I posted my original comment above.  The instructions say if you did not receive text or email, then go to My Roger's for a link, but nothing is there. 

 

Any suggestions by Roger's?

What on earth was Rogers thinking when they sent out this SMS with a link? Who authorized this text?

 

In an age where malicious URLs and spoofing are rampant, customers frequently receive spam messages with names spoofed from Rogers. Scammers and identity theft gangs exploit this method to hack into your phone and PCs. Geesh.

 

I wonder if the CRTC even cares, because Rogers obviously doesn't.

Anyone know how to enter the contest when you did not get a text or email from Roger’s? I logged in to both MyRogers accounts on the app and on the website but no link to enter on either. I have been with Roger’s since 1991 so I certainly qualify. I currently only have 2 internet accounts…..do you have to have a cellphone with them to enter?  I tried calling Roger’s but as soon as you press the number for the TS contest you get a recorded message saying their reps can help you and they wish you luck 🤔. Does anyone from Roger’s look at these community forums?

Hey Swifties!

 

I understand your interest for the contest and wanted to shed some light on certain questions you brought up.

 

To participate via contest invitation, you must be a Rogers prepaid/postpaid consumer mobile plan (including wireless home phone & tablet data plan) or any Rogers or Shaw internet, TV, home phone, home monitoring or satellite plan (business plans excluded); and whose Rogers consumer account is in good standing and active or whose Rogers mobile number is active.

 

To enter the contest without an invitation, you can send via regular mail, 75 words (unique and original) on why you are a fan along with your name, address, day and evening telephone numbers, email address, and age, to the attention of:

The Rogers Ticket Giveaway to Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour in Canada

Rogers Communications, 333 Bloor Street E. Toronto, ON Canada

M4W 1G9 


You can send in up to two (2) Mail-in Entries per person, less any entries earned through the Contest Invitation by having eligible services. It must be received within the entry periods and there is a limit of one Mail-in Entry per envelope.

I have a Rogers mobile plan (account in good standing) and did not receive a text or an email. 

How do I sign up for the email communications to receive these emails for an opportunity to enter the contest? It is not clear on the website, and your post above does not address this question.

You have not answered anyones question.

 

How to you access your notification settings to get the email or sms. Most have not received anything, and sending hand written please please me letters to OMP is not an answer.

This is so frustrating! We are Rogers mobile customers (4 different phones and number) and our account is in good standing, yet no email or text and logging in to MyRogers is no help. @RogersZia or @RogersMaude can you please help?

@Heather29 : I counted at least 4 posts in this thread where people received a text or email.  I'm sure lots of people who don't bother posting here also received something, or they logged into their MyRogers website and clicked the banner.

I can definitely understand your excitement and would like to ensure that you saw the post provided by @RogersMaude found here.

 

In answer to your question, if you are an internet customer in good standing, then you should be eligible for the contest. I'm sorry to hear that you aren't seeing the contest banner when logged into your MyRogers profile online. As mentioned in @RogersMaude's post, you may still enter by submitting a written letter (in 75 words or less, unique to you) via regular mail expressing why you are a fan along with your name, address, day and evening telephone numbers, email address, and age, to the attention of:
