Hey community,

Rogers is proud to provide new continuous cellular connectivity along a 70-kilometre stretch of Highway 14 between Sooke and Port Renfrew.

By delivering fast, reliable 5G service along this important route, the wireless expansion project’s seven new towers are improving safety and providing peace of mind for residents, visitors, and workers along the south coast of Vancouver Island so they can call 911 and use navigation apps.

These wireless towers will also support the work of critical first responders, including B.C. Search and Rescue, as well as local businesses and communities along this stretch of highway.

This project is part of Rogers ongoing work with the B.C. Government to expand service and improve connectivity along other key routes, including Highways 3, 4, 16, 95 and 97.

Rogers is focused on making long-term network investments to ensure all Canadians can access world-class connectivity, including a five-year commitment to invest $6.5 billion across Western Canada, including $3.1 billion across B.C., to build 5G networks and connect rural, remote and Indigenous communities.
