Hey Community,

On September 20, 2019, P3 recognized Rogers as the "Best in Test" wireless operator in Canada. We are proud to share with you that Rogers is the overall winner with strong results in both Voice and Data. This was determined after analyzing Canada’s mobile networks with a focus on the day-to-day experience of customers.

What were the results?

Rogers scored 857 out of a maximum of 1,000 points, leading in both Voice and Data categories over the competition. Bell followed with 837 total points and Telus was third with 826 total points. Freedom came in last with 416 total points.

Why is this test different from other network awards?

P3 is the global leader in mobile network benchmarking. It tests more than 200 networks in 120 countries around the world. Their unique methodology measures the customer experience on a network using consumer popular applications, such as YouTube, Instagram, or Spotify. Other network tests usually use custom field-test software to measure peak speed.

On September 26, PC Mag published their “Fastest Mobile Networks Canada 2019” report, with Telus awarded fastest mobile network. Results for Rogers were also very good. They confirm that Rogers is delivering what our customers need and what current devices can utilize.
