I have an issue with a corporate laptop that cannot seem to connect to the wifi network for internet access (so that the corporate VPN tunnel can be created. Has anyone encountered this and what solutions have you found?
Other devices seems to connect to the WIFI ok, however this laptop connects (it is assigned a local 192.168.0.xx ip address but it cannot 'see' the internet.
I chatted with tech support but they checked and the modem appears to be operating normally and cannot offer any solutions. Is it a setting on the router that needs to change (no MAC addresses filtered)

Since it's a work laptop, you may not have admin access to create a new WiFI connection etc. However, we can diagnose the issue for you. Please answer the following:
The more details you can provide the better to find a solution for you.
