Wi-Fi Calling on Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+

That is correct. With all androids and iPhones. They roll out those to be enabled on the Rogers branded ones and then later on to the unlocked models

Mine works just fine. I have the little phone symbol on the top right beside the WiFi icon. Turned into airplane mode and worked still.

When first implemented, just having the feature enabled caused a noticeable battery drain on the S7, and users disabled the feature for that reason.

That's what I was referring to. Was that issue every fixed?

I believe it has. No battery drain as of yet here with the S8+.

I can confirm as per my images on page 1 it's working and so is VOLTE. So maybe it's ur account that's having issues or provisioning errors.

Its only available at the moment for Rogers branded devices. Unlocked ones will have to wait. ( if u are asking)

It did that once or twice with me but once I did airplane mode and put it back on, it worked and the second time I just restarted my phone and worked.

For those having an issue with WiFi calling, did you go through the registration process successfully? Or is that not required with the S8?

I had no problem activating WiFi calling on my S8. I had it enabled on my S7 (then switched to a Pixel) and simply turned it on on the S8 and it worked immediately.

I tried several times, rebooted phone, same issue. 

there is no registration, it asks for your phone number, sends you a text with code, and then we enter out code. 

when we enter the code, it returns the error - device not supported. 

I upgraded from S7 edge, and it was working fine on that device.
