WhatsApp not working with new iPhone 16 Pro Max

hi, i have a question about the iphone16 pro max, i really don t know if i have a problem with mine or it s the whatsapp doesnt work proprely with iphone 16, since i got it, there are some features not working with whatsapp, like when you go to whatsapp to register a number after a call or a new message, usually we have an option that s says create new contact or add to an existing contact instead of going back to your contact app to do it, but on my iphone i don t have that option when using whatsapp but something weird because on my kids iphone14 and 15, they do have that option, so please if someone has an idea how to fix this issue. thank you
