Hello, please help clarify for me. I currently have a rogers account number with my own BYOD mobile plan. Rogers customer service setup a new mobile account under my name (in order to get a special rate) for my wife to port her cell plan over. When I setup her new rogers sim and transfer her number over to this new plan under my account will the caller id show her name (or mine because the account is under my name). FYI she uses an iPhone

By default, the outgoing caller ID name (user name) is set to the same as the Account Holder.
The good news is, each number can have its outgoing username changed.
My friend has a family plan on her account, and all the phones showed her name when her kids called out on their lines, so she just asked to change the "username" of a specific line to their kids own name and that solved the problem.

you should call in to change the "username" as I do not believe there is a way of doing it online.
Also when your wife opened a new line, did they give her a NEW account number or did they create a second line under your already existing account? this is important to check, as it might be more convenient to get one bill/account to pay every month instead of separate bills.

Hi!
You can do it online through your account here.
(On a computer) You'll see a name and phone number for each line. On the right, select "Manage".
From there, scroll down a bight and you will see "Change my Caller ID".
