Setting up Cellular on Apple Watch Ultra 2

Hi I am getting error WS508 while I am trying to set cellular on my new watch. Rogers store has set up the SIM and added to my plan but when go to set up cellular on Watch app and I log in and fill up the 911 address and validate it (even selecting the prompted Canada post address) in the next screen I get “Sorry something went wrong” giving an error message: Your smartwatch plan has been activated and added to your account, but we were unable to link the plan to your smartwatch. Please try again later . Error WS508 Please help!

I am having the same issue as we speak, I am chatting with their support, and they escalated it which should take 24-72 hours... Still waiting on getting this working.

Same here. According to Rogers tech support this is a system issue and many are waiting to activate their Apple Watches. They’re expecting a solution this weekend.

Having the same issue, was told same thing about ticket opened will take 24-72 to fix. Called someone and they said they would escalate my already escalated ticket and someone would call me within an hour and of course no call. One rep told me it’s some issue with the address and the e911 profile or something like that. Just waiting in limbo over here…

Same here no update yet. The ticket is open and no updates yet or communication from Rogers tech team. It’s been already couple of days. Hope there is a fix soon.

I was also told it had something to do with the 911 profile address. Haven’t heard anything back from my escalated ticket but tried a few variations of my address with no luck.

the problem has changed from WS508 to WS300.

Yea I tried that too as I did some research and some people that this happened too in the past said they were told to do that by customer service but no luck for me

I purchased an apple watch ultra and trying to activate the cellular plan, but getting WS300.
Has anyone figured out a solution?
my issue is a gave a unit letter that needs to be added after the street number in the street number box. When I enabled Wifi calling on my iphone it would not accept the address unless I used the unit number after the street number, but on the watch the street number box does not allow entry of letter, because when I tried the continue button is greyed out. Wondering why Rogers have two set of rules for address entry of the E911, one for WiFi calling and another for the apple watch. I am not sure if that is what causing the error to show up but it is the only one that I could come up with based on my experience with enabling Wifi calling on the iPhone.

Tech support continues to confirm the errors with both wifi calling and Apple Watch cell plan registration are related to problems with the 911 registration. Solution expected “next week”.
