Text message status not showing

For the last couple of weeks, text messages are no longer showing "Delivered" or "Read" status and the color of the text bubbles has gone from the normal blue to green. I am on a Galaxy S23 Ultra. My wife has the same issue with her phone (same phone as mine). Is there a fix for this?
