My S22 Ultra update level is stuck at patch level February 1, 2024. How can I force it to update to March 1st level or April 1st (if it is out yet)? I've made sure I have at least 25gb of memory but it continually tells me it us up to date. I also tried connecting it via Smart Switch but to no avail. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Hello, @Sharbotcom.
Thank you for your commitment to keeping your device up-to-date with the latest OS and security patches. For Canadian S22 Ultra models, the February update was the latest, but you may expect the April security update on May 3rd, as listed in the OS Upgrade Schedule. Heads up, your phone might take a few days after that date to automatically download the update.
I appreciate your patience and understanding.
Cheers,
RogersMoin

Good morning @Sharbotcom!
If your device continually fails to update but you have enough space and you've tried rebooting the device already, my next suggestion would be to attempt factory resetting the device.
However, if your device is saying that it's fully up to date, there is most likely no update currently available for your phone. Please keep an eye on the OS upgrade page:

Hi all, So May 3 has come and gone and while I appreciate the caveat here that the dates may change, it is now May 8 and I am still on the Feb 1 security update and I just think it is unacceptable to have a premium Samsung device which is supposed to be first in line for updates sitting on a 3 month old update. It is even more concerning when 5 days have passed and the information shared on the link still shows May 3. Any update on this would be really appreciated.

Hi Tony
I have Samsung S22 Ultra running on Android 14 but my latest security patch is Nov 1, 2023. How do I force a 2024 security patch update? I've tried clicking on it and it takes me to android security bulletin page. Please help solving this for me.

I don't think the issue is related to folks not knowing how to do an update. It is related to fact that none of us are getting any even when we follow the standard procedures. Why are our phones not getting any updates? In my case since the February 1st update. I feel my phone is becoming more vulnerable by the day!!!!

Looks like the OS update schedule has been updated - all S22 owners will receive their update on May 14.

hi RogersJo thank you for the response and suggestion. I just tried this and the smart switch connected from my PC but all that showed up was "backup" and "Restore" options. No "update" option appeared. I wish that it did so I could get the latest patched updated.
Question: Could it be that my phone was purchased out of the USA?

@saharahmad we cannot always guarantee functionality on non Rogers devices. Have you tried to leverage the Samsung
Members Community? I would recommend checking it out, it may turn out to be handy!

saharahmad, If you purchased your phone from the USA, then it is a a NON Rogers phone, even though your service provider is Rogers. You are allowed to use a Non-Rogers phone on Rogers, but you also have to remember, the Samsung Software Updates they are pushing out might not be compatible with the version of your phone you might get the update at a later time, there is nothing Rogers can do about this. Rogers Zia is right, please check the Samsung Members Community for more information about when to expect a software update to your device.

Well it's May 14th and I just checked for the AI update for my Samsung s22 ultra...nothing!
Is it coming later in the day? Does anyone else have it with Rogers. This is getting ridiculous still in Feb security patch.
