Hello Everyone,
I Received a call today from a Rogers number. I am always skeptical receiving calls from any company now, so I often don’t answer but today I did by accident and then hung up. I thought it was a scam call. When I called the number back. Voice mail said that it was the Rogers Ambassidor Team. What is the purpose of this team? I have made no changes to my account?

I would like to switch my line from Bell to Rogers. I have total 4 lines. 3 of them already from Rogers and i want the 4th one to be from the same.
In May 2024, i received very competitive offer from Rogers Ambassador so i switched from Virgin to Rogers and they told me whenever i would like to switch any line from another network, just let them know so i can get better deal.
Now, i am trying to reach them and no one answers the call. Despite leaving many voice messages, no one get backs to me.

Hi Corey,
Are you sure that Rogers Ambassador team has been discontinued from February this year since i received the call in May 2024 and i switched to Rogers due to them.

I sent the private msg to the @CommunityHelps as advised and received the the disappointed msg that Ambassador team is discontinued and they directed me to the Rogers Web Site.
You could also inform me the same instead of wasting my time by asking to send messages to private.
Why cant you people can keep the things simple? It seems i should re-consider now to switch my 3 telephone line from Rogers to someother network since your Customer Service is quite Poorer and despite leaving voice msgs and calls, no respect for the Customer.

There are reasons they ask you to do this instead of simply providing a general answer on the forum. Rogers wants you to contact them so that they can look at your account to see if there's something they can do to retain you as a customer or provide options.
Although it often doesn't seem like it based on pricing and some CSRs, Rogers does wish to retain you as a customer, but remember that the purpose of a corporation is to maximize profits for their shareholders.
