Hi there
Just got my streamer and modem in the mail today was thinking rather than going with the streamer might want to go to live cable instead, is that doable? would there be discounts on the cable since it's Black Friday and all>

It should be. As far as I know, the Ignite TV and Ignite SmartStream hardware is all the same... and you are still in your "cooling off" period so you should be able to make service changes fairly easily. Switching to Ignite TV should only involve some account changes in the backend and then pushing some changes to your set-top box. I would send a Private Message to @CommunityHelps and they should be able to assist you with any changes to your services.
