Upfront phone broken

I've been around

I got a new Samsung 24 through the upfront upgrade program approximately 3 months ago. Over the weekend my phone got smashed, I can still turn it on and charge it but the front screen has dark spots and a huge smash spot. I know that I cannot return the phone but how do I get out of paying for the rest of the phone or am I stuck with paying for the full price of the phone.

When you agree to buy a phone, even on an a payment plan. You are still responsible for the full amount of of the device regardless of what happens to that device. If you have the insurance on your device through Rogers. You can always file a claim, send it in, and a refurbished replacement will be sent to you. You would still be responsible for paying the remaining balance of the device off.
