It is not acceptable to be told it will take one week for a repair technician to come fix the internet.

Welcome to the Rogers Community Forums!
I can understand how frustrating it is to have to wait for a technician to get your services running properly.
We are usually able to accommodate earlier service calls. If you let the agent who booked the service call know that you wanted someone sooner they will ensure our dispatch team is notified. The dispatchers will contact you if we have an earlier technician available.
We appreciate your patience with this matter.
