Rogers' billing error from 2023 for a 1-week account has turned into a Collection Notice

I've been here awhile

I'd like to speak with someone in the President's Office regarding this matter.  My 1-week account was supposed to have been closed in September 2023 following payment and statement showing $0.  In September 2024, I received an emailed statement from Rogers showing a $55.11 credit on account.  After 1+ hour on the phone, they issued a credit.

Now this morning, I received a Collection Notice from 'National Credit Recovery Inc' on behalf of Rogers Communications Inc. stating I owe $56.82.  I called, they were very rude and were requesting personal information I was not prepared to supply not knowing their legitimacy (I did provide the file # and my name).

I'm now on the Phone with a Manager a Rogers who appears to confirmed that they refund was processed twice in error (once to my Credit Card which I've confirmed, second via cheque which I don't have nor have negotiated).

I need this matter dealt with immediately with written confirmation from Rogers Communication Inc. and their Credit Collection Company to confirm this will not negatively impact my credit score and an apology from both for the time I've had to take to deal with Rogers over an insane matter they created.

Thank you
