I've been around

If I'm out of the country and use my hotel free Wi-Fi will I still be charged $15/day?

@Bim95 : I'm not an expert on Roam Like Home, since I don't use it, however, there is a link below with similar discussions:

One needs to ensure that no cellular signals are generated or received from your phone. There are various settings like "cellular data", etc that need to be turned off in the phone, otherwise some of the phone's automatic updates will/may occur and trigger Roam Like Home charges, even if unintentional.  Airplane mode may, or may not be adequate to preclude charges, but it may depend on other phone settings. Simply using the hotel's WiFi is not adequate without appropriate phone settings.
