You can probably cancel by contacting the mods on this forum. Chat may also work - I just tried it and Chat will put you through to a specialist. Here are the instructions for contacting the forum mods:
When logged into the forum, click on @CommunityHelps . On the page that comes up, you'll see a link on the top right of the screen to "send a message". If you're using a tablet or phone, you may need to switch your browser to the desktop version. How to do that will depend on the device but a web search should find it. There may be some back and forth required while they get your personal information to look into your account. Personal information is not allowed in this forum.

It's the same with many companies. For example, you need to call The Globe and Mail to cancel your service. Surprisingly, they may provide you with an option or pricing that you may like and remain with them, much like Rogers. Unfortunately, the wait times with Rogers are currently horrendous.

For as long as I've been alive, The majority of companies I've dealt with to cancel services with them you must CALL IN and request to Cancel your service. This has been the way for as long as I have been born, Just pick up the phone and request to cancel, there is no point to try to circumvent the system and try to do it another way which is not accepted or permitted. your just going to be wasting more time.

949141659, what did u think happens to the modems when people cancel their service? did anyone think they get tossed in the trash and fill up the landfills with electronic waste? no they are being environmentally friendly and helping the planet by re-using them. second hand modem functions just the same way as a new modem. the only difference is people being picky about wanting something new when a second hand device is just as acceptable

Rogers care service is terrible, It seems they try very hard to avoid the cancellation. It is the very bad marketing startegy. Customer who wnat to cancel already subscribe to other company, so by making it difficult won't make cusmoter change their mind and keep them form coming back in the future.

I've been waiting to cancel my Internet for over an hour now. This service level is unacceptable.

You can reach them by dialing 1-888-ROGERS1(764-3771) or by dialing *611 from your Rogers phone. Confirm your account by pressing 1, then select 4 for "Account changes", and then 5 to "Cancel a service". - I found this in another post and it actually took 10 minutes. Much better than calling the 888 number or any other method.
