Moving to a different province

Hello my family and I will be moving to a different province this summer. Just wondering if this will impact our cell phone plans and numbers or can I just simply change my address on the account and remain status quo? Thanks

You should look at ALL the aspects of moving to another province and keeping your out of province phone number, including any issues you might experience with the intercom of apartment buildings and condos. Some may require a phone number local to the province or city

Also you have to look at how local residents and businesses in your new province will handle calling an out of province number to contact you.

I met someone who has moved here to Toronto but kept their Vancouver phone number,   They can call locals numbers here just fine, but not everyone comfortable or capable of paying a long distance call to call their neighbor, yes some people still pay for long distance.
