Is it real winback?

Hey, so Rogers sent me an email saying their winback team would call me. I got a call from this number (+18334479898) today, but they hung up before I could even say hello. I left a voicemail asking them to call me back, but I haven't heard anything yet.

What's the deal? Why would they call me and then just disconnect?

I'm getting these calls from the exact same number, screen says FIDOROGERS, and just like you, I pick up say hello, and they hang up on me. I get these calls daily, 1-3x a day, and I pick-up because I left Rogers about a month ago and am curious if there is a deal being offered. I'm forced to think this is a scam and am tempted to block, but if I do that I'm not allowing Rogers to ever call me with a winback deal? So, I continue to receive these hang up calls...

Did you end up figuring out what it is? I'm hesitant to call the number for fear that it's a scam, I'll get charged some long distance charges or something, because I can't figure out for the life of me why someone would keep calling someone just to hang up. I guess they must love my voice, lol.
