I had Rogers Internet with a discount, i believe, for at least 3 years now. However, my last bill was billed 3.5 times higher than my regular price. ($100 to $350). I was not expecting just a drastic expense and not doing well financially. I wish I had received an email or phone call notify this change but nothing was done. I really want liked Rogers's services until this point. I hope someone can help me out.

if the discount was given to you, they tell you how long it is given for, sometimes it even specifies the length on the actual physical copy of your bill you pay every month. This is all the notice they are required to give, anything else, is up to you to set a calendar reminder that your promotion is expiring and you will be paying the full in market price for the services. same with the grocery store, once an item is no longer on sale, you pay the full price for the groceries, right? so that is the price you need to pay. it should not be a shock to you because you were told the discount is not forever, the problem with society is they think the discount is ongoing over and over they get surprised and shocked when it goes away, but think of it like the grocery store discounts when u buy meat on sale but the next week its not, do you pay the full price? if yes then why is it so hard to understand this for cellphones?
