Call Back Never Happens

Help! What do I do know?

On Jan 10, I received a call from  a The Rogers WinBack team agent with a very good offer (Internet and Home Phone). There were no phishing or scamming alarms. Installation was agreed to happen Jan 12. It did not.

I called Rogers, the offer was confirmed, but the installation had been cancelled right away. An agent was supposed to call me by Jan 14.

By Jan 14, there had not been a call, so I called Rogers; the offer was reconfirmed and installation scheduled for Jan 17 - it went off without a hitch. But later that evening the home phone was cut off.

Jan 19, I called Rogers and was assured that I would get a callback by Jan 21.

Jan 21, same story. Call back Jan 23.

Jan 23, same story. Call back Jan 24

Jan 24, same story.

Is this a bait and switch; with Rogers never intending to provide Home Phone, and are they trying to wait me out until I give Up?

Should I complain to the president?

I can just see how inconvenient this installation experience has been for you so far. I sincerely hope the home phone has been installed since you last posted here.

 

If not, may I know if you were provided with a reason for the reschedule? Do you already have any other active services with Rogers?
