Memory card in Home Monitoring

Himanshu1
I've been around

I don't see any slot for SD memory card in my Rogers Home Monitoring. It looks like that it is microSD card.

Can someone please confirm the configuration of memory card , I can use in monitoring device to record video from security camera? or am I looking into the wrong place?

Good day @Himanshu1,

Thank you for posting your question to the Rogers Community!

To use Touchpad Video Recording, you must have one of the following cameras installed and ready to use in your Smart Home Monitoring system:

  • Sercomm iCamera2
  • iCamera1000
  • OC810

If you have a TCA301 Touchpad, keep in mind that you'll need a Micro SD card instead of a Standard SD card.

You must have a 64 GB or higher Standard SD card that is Class 10-rated.

Don’t remove the Standard SD / Micro SD card from the Touchpad if video is still being recorded. This will cause the recordings already on the card to become corrupt.

If you leave the same Standard SD / Micro SD card in the Touchpad past 7 days and the Touchpad Video Recording feature stays on, the touchpad will begin overwriting the oldest video on the card with the latest recordings.

This means if you continuously record, you will always have the most recent 7 days of video available. Only one camera stream can be recorded at a time.

Hope this helps!
