Spam or not

Hi all,

I saw a thousands of posts on Facebook Marketplace, offering lucrative deals on Rogers Ignite Internet. I contacted them, they are not rogers employees but asking for Driver's Licence etc. Does anybody know about these. Are these spam or legitimate. 

Should rogers check these advertisements and confirm no customers are falling into the hands of fraudsters, if they are.

Regretfully, Rogers cannot be responsible for any posts or advertisements found on third-party (non-Rogers) platforms or websites. If you are receiving offers from an unknown or non-validated source claiming to be from Rogers, then we would definitely recommend that you report any suspicious activity right away! 

For non-Rogers related activity that seems suspicious, you may report it to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre or the institution that it appears to be from.
