I've been around

I received this via text today with a link for an etransfer of $117.42….. seems phishy?

~Rogers News~ In July, we experienced a major nationwide network outage affecting a range of services from cell phone coverage to internet and debit card purchases.

We are sorry for the inconvenience, please answer "C" for compensation

This is a scam. Rogers always credit your account directly without any need for you to do anything.  You should have received your compensation in your August bill, (received in September?)  See link below:
