Xfinity TV - Feedback

GrahamWren
I've been around

I was told I needed to switch from cable, because it was obsolete. Now I have a zillion channels, 95% of them subscription, and almost none of my old favourite channels. Those that survived the switch have improbable channel numbers and are scattered throughout the huge number of utterly useless ones. I don’t watch sports, so thanks for giving me over 100 channels of that . .
I want channels 2 to 13, plus Comedy, YTV East and West for the kid, and a couple other cartoon channels for him (I.e. 22, 43, 67, and 190 from the cable numbers) plus maybe a cooking channel.

I'm an advisor
That's what caused me to ditch cable TV service 15 years ago and I have never looked back. Companies forcing me to take a ton of channels just to get the CW networks had me paying for 100+ channels and the movie networks just to watch a few US "premium" channels. A $60 antenna and being close to Lake Ontario makes it so much easier to get those channels for free out of Buffalo and in a better quality picture than cable or satellite ever delivered.
