I get a black screen after 10 secs, then blips like on/off images. I turned the TV off and the same thing happens. The set top box works fine with my other TV. Anyone can help?

Thank you for your post, and welcome to our Community!
A black screen after 10 seconds can be disappointing; I appreciate you testing the box with another TV. The issue could be related to the resolution.
Can you plug the box into the other TV and select the resolution from the "best available" to 1080p? And connect the box to a different HDMI port on your LG 8K TV.
Please keep us posted on the outcome.
@57 may have more ideas on this!
