Rogers Cable TV: Most programs are repeats!

chris_arbuckle
I've been around

Why are there no relevant programs on Rogers cable tv?  Nothing good is on and what is on are repeat shows from the past that we already paid Rogers for.  Rogers insists they are not responsible for this yet they are the company taking our money.  Your cable tv is utter garbage and your wifi is garbage as well, I had to buy internet cable and run it directly to my modem to get proper internet.  Your staff are great but the people who make the decisions suck and Rogers is a rip off to customers, I do not recommend Rogers services they don't take responsibility they only take our money.

Except for the few channels that Rogers owns, this has nothing to do with Rogers, as stated by the person with whom you discussed this at Rogers. The programming that "airs" is up to the broadcasters and the provider simply passes that "channel" along. It doesn't matter if it's Shaw (now Rogers) Bell, Cogeco, Videotron, OTA, etc.

I'm an advisor

The Writers Guild of America are on strike so with no writers working there are no new shows or new episodes being produced.  Its pretty much repeats or nothing.

Even with this Writers' strike, I'm sure I'm not the only one with plenty of PVR or cloud recordings that need to be watched and cleared.

Sports fans lost hockey and basketball, so that leaves room for Saudi Golf, Pickleball, Formula One winner races, Baseball's Home Run Derby and All-Star shame.

Shark programming arrives in July, so that should please San Jose Sharks fans (all 6 of them).

IgniteTV streaming fans should be able to find fresh things to watch.

I suppose it would be nice if Rogers modified its Flex channel limitations, so that subscribers could make more channel changes each month.

Tired of reruns? No problem. You can now switch up to 3 Flex channels per week (rather than just one a month). New subscribers now get their first 2 months of unlimited Flexing (rather than just first month).

Rogers IgniteTV ... It's time to Flex You Up!

Reality Check: None of this is going to happen!

If you want more flexibility, try Yoga instead.

I'm always amazed when people make this sort of remark. I don't know what programming other people like and I would never think about commenting on whether it's worthwhile viewing or not.

I'm a fan of motorsports and the summer is when I can watch programming like: IndyCar, Formula 1, Formula E, MotoGP, WRC Rally, European Rally, Superbike, LeMans, Isle of Man TT, etc.  I record these and watch them in the evenings, skipping commercials, etc.  after the sun has set and I've come inside.  I know how to avoid spoilers online.
