I am new to Rogers Xfinity TV and am finding this Power Saver function extremely annoying, as I keep coming back to my TV only to find my receiver has gone to sleep. If you go into Power preferences, there is an option to turn it OFF but it actually does not prevent it from going to sleep every 4 hours. I do not want this function, the ''energy saving'' is negligible and I did not ask for this. I find it quite invasive that my TV provider is deciding when my TV service is on or off, and I want Rogers to get this function removed from Xfinity. I am paying for 24/7 service, but the provider is deciding when to turn my TV reception off.
