I recently switched from Rogers Streaming to Rogers Xfinity Streaming (as they offered me a better price to switch). I was told it would be more or less the same service, but it isn't. It doesn't have as many apps included; notably, Pluto TV is missing. Yes, I know I can run the Pluto TV app and cast to the television, but it's more convenient to just access it through the box. Or it *was* more convenient, because now I can't do that.
Why on earth do the two Rogers streaming services have a different list of supported apps, and particularly, why are there *fewer* on the newer ones? Are they are any plans to bring Pluto TV to the newer ones?

I'm confused. When I click on Rogers - Apps on the box, Pluto is listed in the second line down in the apps. Exactly what bundle or service do you have?
Also, if there is a specific programme of interest, use the Voice Command on the remote to search for it?

I have just streaming (no channels). If you look on this page: https://www.rogers.com/contact/tv, they support two types of TV boxes. You must have Rogers Xfinity TV or Rogers Streaming, which I used to also have, which includes Pluto TV. But with the deal, I had to return that, and instead got a Rogers Xfinity Streaming and Rogers Xfinity App TV box which does not have as many apps. I wish they had told me. I had asked to keep the same service, and that's not what I got. When I agreed, I didn't even realize I'd have to change the TV box.

Often, even if you ask, without a fair bit of research, unfortunately you can end up losing something you previously had... Agents often say "there is no change", etc... even when that's wrong.
