Can I take a ignite box from one tv and put it on another tv with anew remote?

Yes, I'm pretty sure that you can.  You can have multiple Ignite TV remotes paired to the same set-top box with each remote programmed to control the volume of their respective TV.  You can then move the set-top box to the other TV without having to reprogram the remote.

I don't have time to confirm this right now but this is something that I could test for you.
