How to remove channel banner from ignite tv

On the nextbox 3 there was an option to remove the channel banner from the tv screen. How can I do the same on ignite tv.

Thank you for posting your query in the Community. We can drill down into the settings for you to disable channel banner if such an option is available. 

We need more info about the channel banner in question. Are you seeing this banner when you change the channel? Is it not going away after a few seconds?

It would be helpful if you can upload the screenshot of the banner.

Sorry, I'm not really sure what @pboc  is asking about either.  It also has been a few years since I had Digital TV and used a NextBox 3.

Ignite TV does not offer much customization for the on-screen elements.  You can turn things off like "Rogers Ignite TV Tips" in "Settings / Preferences / Notifications" and change the default Guide view but I don't know of any way to suppress any other aspects of the UI or know how to prevent banners/popups from showing.

You can remove these by the tv menu and shutting iff the store demo mode.
