Who gets charged if I use Face Time on my i12 phone: the sender or the receiver? I have a Talk&Text plan, Pay As You Go account with Rogers. Thanks!

There is no additional charge to make a Face Time call on any phone. Face time however does require Data, weather it be WIFI data or Cellular data. If you dont have cellular data on your line you will need a wifi data so it will come out of your wifi data. if you dont have wifi, it will try to use the data from your data plan ,if you do not have a data plan you might get charged for it, check how much your data rates are, by calling rogers. This will be the same for both sender or receiver.
The reason why most of us do not worry about this is majority of people have data plans included with their phone package for this very reason so they do not have to think about this.

Got charged Long Distance for Facetime Calls to a friend in USA. Called Rogers and the representative outright said if the Apple ID has a number linked in addition to an email; then will get charged for Facetime as well as iMessage. She changed her stance post speaking to a Manager but said will have to create a case to determine the calls originated as Facetime and I agreed.
When asked how long to determine the type of calls and when determined if the calls were Facetime, the manager or she would apply the disputed LD charges; she then reconfirmed with manager and went back on her statement. She's back to ANY CALLS made via Facetime are also valid as Intl. LD if made outside Canada. Good I asked for clarification; otherwise would be given a run around later.
Somebody please help because this is ridiculous I have been on call for over an hr and 35mins. I have not been been able to speak with any manager; plus this representative is giving contradictory information one after the other.
