Number Cancelled by Rogers without knowledge.

Hi, ok so. I was moving out of the country for a while in November 2023. Therefore, switched to pay as you go from postpaid on the day of departure. I was given confirmation over the call that my number will be switched instantly and the call would disconnect automatically. Now, I am out of the country and they are saying that my number has been cancelled ( to my sister who is in Canada) . I need to retrieve this number as it is registered with banks and other places. However, I have a chat transcript of December 1st,2023 proving that my number is active. What do I do??
