I am not with Rogers for my cellular services. I have no filters or restrictions active on my device or through my cellular provider, I have added the Rogers short codes 50500, 100100, 89000, and 93998 to my contacts, I have toggled airplane mode, I have done a power cycle, and I have done a soft reset.
I have no issues with short codes from any other services or providers. My Rogers account was set up approximately 5 hours ago and the email verification worked fine however, my sms verification is not coming through.

Nope. Not blocked. As previously stated there are no restrictions present through my provider. It is an Ontario number. I am within Ontario and have never been outside of the province or even came close to any borders in about 30 years (long before I ever even got cellular services.
Also, I just added the number as a recovery number and that short code verification came through without any issues.
