I have just switched to Roger’s ignite internet. I received an email to download the app and start to process of setting everything up. The app DOES NOT WORK. I sign in, put in my password and try and log in a nothing happens. No error messages, nothing. It just asks to sign in, after I already have. Seriously thinking of just canceling everything and switching to an internet service that is actually reliable and works.

I understand how this could be frustrating but we don't want you to cancel your services over this. Our customers can always reach out to us for technical support if they're having difficulties setting up the modem.
Did you use the Easy Connect setup by chance? Easy Connect will make it so you cannot use the app.
I would recommend a factory reset of the modem using the reset button and then trying the app again: How to Reset the Ignite WiFi Gateway Modem - Rogers
