My modem goes down once a month and during work hours. Internet services are critical and disruption during the day has an impact on my job, kids' virtual classroom, University online exams, etc.
Looking over the logs I constantly see DOCSIS request for maintenance and shortly after that request, the modem goes offline. Why is Rogers doing firmware upgrades to these DOCISIS modems during work hours?

@ngocan What specific messages to you see that are associated with the reset? DOCSIS Station Maintenance messages are sent constantly; they are like a heartbeat. The resets are most likely a result of timeouts that occur when the expected responses are not received due to either line conditions or problems with equipment, or possibly due to the loss of a primary channel in a Downstream Bonding Group.
