Error with Service Interruptions thread Format

A few weeks ago, I noticed that the Rogers forum Service Interruptions thread, no longer showed the "No Active Outages" message within the thread like it did before

Now that there is an outage listed for Brampton, and after clicking the link, it mentions the fibre cut, but the summary info table is broken and incomplete. It also says the message is read-only, but since the table format is broken, I can't read it properly.

Hello, @mebe.

Oh no! We didn't break the table format.😃

I have just tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Vivaldi) on various devices, including mobile devices, and the table format is intact.

By the way, we don't have an outage in Brampton. Did you mean Brantford?

Please tell us the browser and the device you are using. And if you can upload a picture, that would be great.

You can also try the old trick of clearing your browser's cache.

Community: Is anybody else seeing any anomaly with the current Service Interruption post

Cheers,

RogersMoin

Looks fine to me on Chrome, FF & Safari on my Mac Mini M2.

Re: Error with Service Interruptions thread Format

Yes, I meant Brantford, but I would have trouble finding both Brantford and Brampton on a map ... which is why I think they are actually the same place, somewhere near Sudbury or Sarnia (also probably the same place, but the names are changed on the weekends).

I don't remember which browser I used (on my phone), since it depends on which open thread I happen to click on first.

But since you guys can see it all correctly, I'll just fool around with it, the next time I feel the need for fibre facts.

I noticed that the Service Interruption for Brantford is still up, so I tried my Firefox browser (Android phone) and it does work. I can see the table info stating that the outage should be fixed by around 5am June 16.

However, until now, I could use any browser that I hadn't even bothered to update, to see the table info. Trying all the tricks and tips from the help thread 57 posted doesn't change anything, however, for a few browsers I didn't clear the cache etc., since I still need it for a bit longer (not that I expect it to do anything, since even when I used a freshly updated Opera browser with ad-blocker off, it also failed to show that magic table).

Incognito, etc modes, checking time, changing to desktop mode, also do nothing to make the table appear (whether I'm logged into the forums, or not).

There's something magical about displaying that table, but nothing stops me from logging into the Rogers website, forum's, etc.

Whether Rogers changed something to require the major browsers to be updated (like my Firefox browser), or I recently changed something that killed the table (for all but Firefox), at least Firefox still works with my old phone . .. so I guess the solution for me is to just use Firefox if I want to get a VIP seat at King Rogers'Round Table.

Thanks for checking all your better-working browsers, otherwise I would have never thought that the problem was on my end. ⚠️🍻

Since that last outage was fixed, at least I see the No active outages to report message, so if I'm able to see the table (with a lame browser), during the next outage, perhaps that had something to do with my broken tables.

If there happens to be another cut-fibre outage in the North York area, I had nothing to do with it. ✂️

My guess is that there's some obsessive lunatic loose in my area that has a table fetish, and some heavy-duty garden shears.
