If you search the Internet for HP Printer XB7 you will see many people struggling to get their printers to connect. Some older printers cannot connect to modern Wi-Fi networks, either due to incompatibility with band steering or because they do not support modern, more secure Wi-Fi security/encryption schemes.
In some cases, you may be able to get the printer to connect if you use separate network names for the 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
Some people have found that their printers can connect after upgrading their firmware, performing a factory reset, and redoing the initial setup.
