Deleting From Sceduled List

My Wife decided she wanted to record a program. When she did, she selected record all.

So now she was getting the program recorded 4 times a day on 4 different channels in 4 different time ziones.

I cancelled 3 of the recordings and now it shows these 3 little red circles (with one with a line through it) as being cancelled on 3 channels. Thing is though, on the scheduled list it still shows them and on the channels it shows them too but with the 3 red circles.

How do I cancel or get rid of those scheduled programs that I have canclled and those red circles?

@schmidtp : If the programme is still airing, select the programme, select record options, select cancel, select all future recordings.

If the programme is no longer airing, you need to get to the series priority list.  See link below:

Once you're in the priority list, you can also scroll to the programme and hit the "D" button on the remote to delete the programme. This is also helpful to delete a programme you are watching or in the scheduled recordings list.

This may or may not get rid of the single cancelled recordings - you may have to wait until the time for those recordings has passed.

Once all the "bad" scheduled recordings are deleted, you'll need to properly schedule the recording you want, with the appropriate modifiers like "new" or a specific channel, or how long to keep, or how many to keep.
