Home phone forward text messages to email?

I am currently with Fongo and was thinking of switching to Rogers Home phone since I am now a Bulk Xfinity Internet & TV customer. Currently if someone sends a text message to my home phone, Fongo immediately sends me an email with the contents of the text message. This comes in handy for 2 part verification. Does Rogers Xfinity Home Phone have this feature?

Rogers home phone does not natively receive sms text messages, however if the sending carrier, yes the sender, not you the receiver, offers such service, they "might" be able to send you a phone call to your landline and use a robot to read out the message.  but not all cell carriers offer this and your mileage may vary so it's also not a guarantee as this feature can be turned off for the sender too because it involves extra charges on their cell phone bill
