Now that E3 and Comic-Con are behind us we've all had a chance to salivate over what's coming and what we have been able to get our hands on.
Regardless of what you're system of choice is, what are you playing right now and what are you waiting for?
Myself, I'm still chugging along with my X-Box 360 and I'm half way through my 3rd tour of Far Cry 3. I love this game! I find it just so much fun to play. On deck for this winter I still have to play Skyrim and Assassin Creed: Black Flag.
I know I know, I'm way too far behind. But I've got to hurry up because AC: Unity is just around the corner and I am excited! That multiplayer concept looks insane.

I own an XBox 360 and play numerous games on my computer via Steam.
I have a lot of games on my XBox I have finished but still have achievements to get. Currently I'm going back and forth between Mafia II, and Final Fantasy XIII-2. I was also going through Bioshock Infinite on '1999' Difficulty and I'm stonewalled late in the game against one of the few true 'bosses' of the game. It's extra annoying because on that difficulty all enemies gain full health when you die, and yes that includes this boss. Argh!
As far as Steam goes, I have way too many games to count. I wound up with over $400.00 in purchases during the Summer Sale which got me quite a few titles, outside of the hundred or so that I haven't even installed from previous sales. Right at the moment I'm trying to wrap up the rest of the achievements in Cook, Serve, Delicious! and Typing of The Dead: Overkill.
As a recommendation for anyone who finds themselves not able to keep track of what games they have played/beaten/etcetera, or how far they are, I recommend a site called The Backloggery. You can put your whole collection in there and keep track of it very easily.

That's the beauty of the site. You just enter the name of the game, choose the system/platform, and you can mark it at not finished, not played, beaten, or 100% completed. If you're a masochist you can do some sort of crazy playthrough of the game (like a low level run through an RPG) and then you can mark it as mastered You can add in notes regarding your progress, rate the game, and leave comments about it (I normally do a short review).
There is also a weekly livestream and chat and various charity streams as well. I remember a few years back they were playing Superman 64, and essentially every $100.00 donated added on another hour of playtime. I think they were at it for over 12 hours maybe? They wound up beating the thing at least once.
But yeah it's a great site and community.

I have a PS4, xbox 360 and Wii U, and am really looking forward to Plants Vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 but am currently playing the sequel to Diablo III

@ARoC2J Sequel to Diablo III? You must mean the expansion, "Reaper of Souls". That is pretty good I have to admit. I have it on both PC and XBox 360. Big, big time investment though.
@ShakTiburon You sign up on The Backloggery yet? PM me your username and I'll add you to my Multi-tap on site. I need more people to talk to on there.
As an update, I never really did finish what I said I was doing last time. Not playing Typing of The Dead or Cook Serve Delicious right now, but never got all the achievements. A matter of fact I now have more games then I did in the summer.
Currently I'm trying to stay focused on just a handful of games so I can actually beat a few. Right now I'm working on Axiom Verge on Steam (also on PS4) which is an excellent modern take on Super Metroid, along with Saints Row 1, Child of Light, and Assassins Creed Revelations on my XBox 360.

Yeah, I couldn't remember the name of the expansion. It has a lot of good features, which either the original didn't have or I didn't notice 😉 I like how you can go after bounties and stuff rather than completing whole level's you already did.

Right now, the only use for my PS3 is watching Netflix. On my PC, the current game I'm really into is Far Cry 4. It's an amazing game and its graphics are just stunning. I find it very challenging, though. It takes quite a while to figure out the UI and all the things that you have to pay attention to in the game.
Otherwise, I'm mostly into PC racing games, like Assetto Corsa, F1 2015, Project Cars, Grid 2, and NASCAR 2013. I have a so-called racing simulator, which consists of an adjustable racing seat and a frame for mounting a wheel, shifter, and pedals. My wheel is a Logitech G27 which works really well for me. The G27 also works on the PS3 and I do have a couple of racing games on it, including Gran Turismo 6 and F1 2012.

Nice!
I still have to pick up Far Cry 4, but have you seen the new Far Cry: Primal ??

Steam had a good deal on Far Cry 4 recently. For $39.99 Cdn I got the game with all the DLC, including Season Pass.
I'm aware there's a new Far Cry coming out soon, but I haven't seen any trailers, etc., so thanks for posting that one.
I actually had an old version of Far Cry on my PS3 a few years ago and I liked it even then.

On steam I play TERA (MMORPG) a big sweettooth for those types of games.
Fry Cry is beyond me, dunno why people like it, but I assume that's because I never actually played the series.
I always get told its AMAZING.
Do I miss any story line if I just start from the newest one? or Do I have to start from original?

Not sure if there's a story line which ties them together. Far Cry 4 for me is like starting over. The old one I had on my PS3 goes back several years. I think it's a great game and, a bonus for me, it's first person. I absolutely hate third person games. I have a friend on Steam who was really into Mad Max and he highly recommended it. I bought it at a pretty reasonable price, but can't get into it the way I do with Far Cry 4. One reason is, it's a third person game. I have spent many hours on FPS games like different COD releases, but stopped buying them a while ago because they're very repetitive. I really like racing games, but have put them on the back burner for a while as I play Far Cry 4.

I like 3rd person.
Resident Evil (original)
Chaos Legion
Devil May Cry
... Kind of hack and slash seems to be my thing
I like Fighting games but no one wants to play with me 😞 Apparently I win too often. (Which I think it's not true. I am not that good I probably just play non-gamers or non-serious players).
I neer like COD. Only 1st person shooters I like are PC games.
Not saying #PCmasterRace or anything but... you know... mouse and keyboard ... it just... better somehow.
Thank and online RPG. Except for Final Fantasy Online franchise... it's... not good... imo
o__o I really wannt play Tekken with someone. zomg. ahh..

There is no story to tie all the Far Cry games together. It's more of a series based on gameplay style then anything else. They all feature a protagonist trying to survive on a large island, fighting and hunting from a first person view. The characters and settings change with each game. In the case of the new one, they replace all the guns with pre-historic weaponry and focus the attention on a group of neanderthal style tribesmen. As evidenced by the trailer, it looks awesome.

So it is more about the refined game engine rather than anything else.
hmm I must say the trailer look very nice. 🙂
maybe I should try .... maybe... hmmm...

Not sure I understand what you mean by only 1st person shooters you like are PC games. The same games are mostly available on consoles and being 1st or 3rd person is the same whether on a PC or console. I guess you're making a distinction between using a controller and keyboard/mouse. A lot of people play games on a PC with a controller rather than keyboard/mouse. I'm in the keyboard/mouse camp, because they offer much more flexibility. I have a Logitech G19 gaming keyboard and a G700s mouse. I've had them for years and the G19 cost me an arm and a leg. I see them selling for over $300 these days, plus the mouse is well over $100 unless you can find it on sale. The reason I like the combination is that I can program the keyboard "G" keys to do anything I want and can program up to 36 different commands. The mouse is also completely programmable but, of course, it has fewer programmable "keys" than the keyboard. One of its most powerful features is setting DPI. It can go up to 8,200 DPI and as low as 200 DPI. You can program several DPI settings in each game. The mouse also works connected to a USB cable or wireless. The Logitech Gaming Software can handle endless games, plus it automatically loads the profile for games and displays the game icon on its LCD display when the game starts up. The LCD can be used for all kinds of things, such as displaying DPI settings when the mouse switches it. One of the best things about changing DPI is lowering it when you're in combat, which gives you much better accuracy.

The game engine in Far Cry 4 is amazing. The graphics detail really has to be seen to be believed. I have the video settings max'ed out and it plays really smoothly. I've never had FPS problems either. I do have a fairly high end system, though, so that helps.

I am Mid-High PC. I don't have the best.
But it does better than most PC out there. So I am good.
OH speaking of Games. Anyone up for OCULUS rift?

Got all the systems mentioned except XBOne -- playing WWE 2K16 for PS4

My wife isnt a huge gamer.. but she does like to play HALO (we started playing halo when we first were married)
But guess what.. 5 is only on Xbox One
She has finally conceded that maybe we need to get one :3
But i dont have a huge amount of time to play any more, with my son. (though as he gets older, he will probably be on it :P).. so i dont want to spend a lot.
I wish she had said something sooner, around xmas time, when they were all on sale.
Gotta keep my eye out for some good deals..
Probably WORTH the $50 difference between the 500g and 1tb version though.
