Kinda weird, but the recent update to the LG G8 (August  2020) which consists of security update and a few tweaks was never shown on the OS Upgrade Schedule.

For once, an LG device was updated but Rogers neglected to advertise it ?!?

Thank you for joining this thread; it's surprising if your device has received the August security update. On August 12th, LG made the July security update along with other improvements available for LG G8 ThinQ. And this info was posted on our OS Upgrade Schedule. 

Can you check to see if it's the August security update? If possible, please upload a screenshot of the software update version.
