Since the IOS upgrade to IOS 18, a problem has arisen in the iphone's native app. In particular, it is the "Add Account" feature where you no longer able to add a new Rogers Yahoo email account or update a new password (that you may have changed as a security measure) for your existing Rogers Yahoo email account. This renders your Rogers Yahoo email account useless and you will no longer have access to your Rogers Yahoo email through the iphone's mail app.
Normally when you press the "add account" feature, you select "yahoo!" to add your Rogers Yahoo email account. After inputting your email address, it should it would redirect you to the www.rogersmembercenter.com screen to input your password. For whatever the reason, this screen no longer appears in the IOS 18 version.
I was on the phone for over 2 1/2 hours with a Rogers technical support rep in conjunction with one other "iphone Rogers Email" expert in the background. We went through numerous things including clearing the cache, turning off wifi, turning off cellular data. I even tried turn off the phone, resetting the phone to factory setting....nothing seems to work. The only thing I have not successfully tried is to the Reiboot to reset the iphone back to IOS 17 - although it purports to be a free software, when I tried to downgrade with their Reiboot software, it prompts me to BUY the software.....so that's a NO GO.
If anyone have the slightly idea on how to gain back access to my Rogers Yahoo mail account, I am all ears. In the meanwhile I have to download the yahoo mail app to access my Rogers yahoo mail.

@bbfanforever I'm confused. You mention Yahoo mail - do you mean Rogers/Yahoo! email accounts?
You mention a Yahoo App? Do you mean the iPhone's mail app, or Webmail (accessing email via the web?)
I have Apple's Mail working just fine on my iPad and have been for more than a year. Last month I added an additional e-mail address to (Apple) Mail, which also worked fine. However, you need to enable 2FA (adding a cell phone number for authentication) in Webmail for Mail to connect properly to the Rogers/Yahoo server (even though it's called Yahoo, when you set it up).
FYI, the 2FA page comes up (in Rogers Member Centre?) if you try to get to Webmail and you have not set up a cell phone for 2FA. There is no workaround for this. If you can get to Webmail, then you should be all set.
As mentioned by the OP, if you have updated to iOS18, that may be the issue...
A note for the OP - it is possible to access Rogers/Yahoo! emails via Webmail (on the web). It's clunky but works for an emergency or if you only need to use it occasionally. Just click the mail icon at the top right of a Yahoo page - sample below - put in your e-mail address and then your password:

Am I glad to have found this thread ... misery loves company ...
I too started experiencing problems with Rogers Yahoo! email accounts after upgrading to iOS 18.
I have noticed in the past that Apple's native email app does not always "work nice" with Yahoo! email accounts ... and Rogers uses Yahoo! email. e.g. new mail is not being fetched, or sending email gets stuck in the outbox.
My usual fix was to delete the Yahoo! email account and re-add it to Apples' native email app .
Yesterday, I was no longer able to re-add a Rogers Yahoo! email account.
After entering my Rogers email address, I get sent to the www.rogersmembercenter.com page mentioned by @Nancy12. However, the page is blank; I cannot enter my Rogers credentials.
For now, I have to use the Yahoo! mail iOS app on the iPhone to access Rogers email.
As an aside, on my iPad, the Rogers email account still works for now (can send and receive emails), but if I go to Settings > Apps > Mail > Accounts, both my Rogers email accounts says there is a problem and I need to re-enter my password, which I can't (again, sent to a blank www.rogersmembercenter.com screen). Oddly, my other non-Rogers Yahoo! email account does not say this in the Apple Mail apps settings.
Never had an issue with Gmail accounts in Apple's native mail app.

Sorry to whoever accepted @57's response as solved.
I don't accept the issue as solved.
Please see my response to @bbfanforever above.
Not sure which company to blame (Apple/Yahoo! or Rogers), but if only the www.rogersmembercenter.com
screen would appear and not be blank, and let me enter my Rogers credentials, I assume that would fix the issue.

I have been corresponding with Apple Support on this issue. They suggest that I touch base with Rogers to see if they have made any changes to their servers. If this issue is specific to Rogers Yahoo Mail and NOT to other email platforms (such as gmail, hotmail or even yahoo i.e. non Rogers email), then the problem lies with Rogers.

I'm not sure that's totally true if it's only happening with iOS18. It may be some sort of incompatibility between both Apple & Rogers.
In the past, I have seen similar issues (like not receiving) with Outlook (latest version) and Rogers/Yahoo! (and/or Yahoo email) and those were often resolved in a day or two if enough people were affected...

I have the same issue ... first on iPhone ios18 and then once my new iPad upgraded to ios18 I have the same problem. I too spent 2 hours on the phone with Rogers. While the rep said he'd do more investigating, he also said "Apple Mail is a 3rd party app and we don't support 3rd party apps." We'll have to stay tuned.

I actually have two separate issues.
First issue is one account is not accessible by the Rogers Member Centre. website That is the one that is currently with support and a ticket. A message comes up saying to contact a Rogers Specialist (which I did). Oddly enough, that one actually works (send and receive) with the native iOS mail app...both in the most recent iOS 17 version and the new iOS 18 version.
Second issue is an account that cannot use the native iOS mail app. I noticed the mail stopped syncing on my iPhone on iOS 17 after I updated passwords from the first issue, and enabling 2FA thinking that would fix it. Updating to iOS18 had no impact and still didn't work. Using the Yahoo Mail app, I can access my rogers.com email with no problem. I can also view it through the Rogers Member Centre. Like the others experienced, if you try to remove the email account from your iPhone and then try to re-add it, you run into issues trying to get the account authenticated. When you try using Yahoo or even manually adding the account, something goes wrong in either trying to authenticate yourself (either nothing comes up, or an error message comes up saying authentication failed).
I didn't have any issues before when I got my phone (13 Pro Max), and even before the newest iOS 18 was installed. My backup Galaxy still retrieves the emails, even with a BlackBerry Hub installed. Originally I thought it may be my accounts since I've been with Rogers now for a few decades. So it just seems there's some issue between either Rogers and/or Yahoo and their account or security settings that aren't playing nicely. But like SpeedyC mentioned, some of us seem to have issues "fetching" our mail. I noticed it recently when some of my home automation notices seemed "late". Hopefully there's a fix...but sadly it's reassuring others are facing a similar issue.

I just spent a almost an hour the phone with Apple. They said they have no other reports of this (Apple rep was in the U.S.). I shared that I have at least a dozen other customers with exactly the same issue (after iOS 18 can't add Yahoo email address to Apple Mail app due to white screen with no data fields on the password screen ... all other mail apps working fine and other email account types can be added to Apple Mail .... only issue is Yahoo on Apple Mail). This issue does not appear in iOS's prior to 18. They gave me a case number and said they would escalte to Engineering. I'll update here if they contact me with a fix.

I am having the same issue (iPhone XR). Hard to believe that this is affecting all iPhones with Yahoo mail and Rogers seems official unaware?
Thanks for your efforts to get to a reolution!
