Not able to hear opposite person ring when I call international number

Hi there, when I am calling to international number . I cannot hear whether there phone is ringing or not. But I am able to hear them properly when the opposite person lift the call. Why it is like that. Do we need to change any device settings. I can hear them and they can hear me properly after the call gets connected. I cannot hear the ring sound while I am calling

Thank you for posting your query in the Community. You don’t need to change any settings on your device. The remote exchange generates the ringtone feedback you hear when you call someone.

Not hearing the ring feedback; is it happening with only one international number? There’s not much you can do from your end. It’s good that they can hear the ring and answer your call.

Is this a new issue or you've always gotten dead air when you dial a US number? Does it happen on any other International calls too? Have you made any recent changes to the device?
