Galaxy fold

I have galaxy fold phone, it split down the spline, i am within the one yr warrentee and sent for repair.
They said its un fixable.
How can a phone be unfixable for a screen defect.
If they cannot fix it what are my options.
Do they mean it too expensive to fix?

I can imagine how disruptive it can be when the phone becomes inaccessible. And it can’t be repaired is disappointing.

Did you send your phone to the manufacturer? Or do you have a Device Protection plan with us?

In either case, if they can’t repair it, they should provide you with the reason and options.

did you get the phone from Rogers directly or Samsung? 
regardless that, you can just contact Samsung directly to get warranty, and if you got it from Samsung, then they normally would include 1 year of accidental plan on it, which you might still need to pay $40 to get screen replaced.
